What will we look at?
We flag the lighting and electrical decisions worth discussing before the layout is locked in.

-
1
Lighting
Does the layout suit how the room will actually be used?
-
2
Glare
Could better placement or fewer fittings create a more comfortable result?
-
3
Switching + dimming
Will the controls make sense day and night?
-
4
Power
Are useful power locations being allowed for now?
-
5
Future needs
Anything worth allowing for while access is still easy?
Kieren is a talented and intelligent electrician who did an exceptional job managing the electrical work for our renovation. We couldn’t have been happier with his work and care. We recommend him without reservation.
Questions
Questions renovators ask first.
Still have a question?
Call Kieran direct on 0415 343 050What should I send?
Whatever you have: architectural or electrical plans, a kitchen designer’s drawings, photos of the rooms, a hand sketch or screenshots. PDF, JPG, PNG and HEIC files all work.
When should we bring you in?
As early as possible, ideally before the electrical rough-in, while walls and ceilings are still open. Planning the lighting layout early avoids costly rework later.
Is it too late if work has already started?
Not necessarily. While walls and ceilings are still open, changes are usually far easier. Send us photos of where things are up to.
Can you review plans from my builder, architect or designer?
Yes. We regularly work from architect and builder plans, and can note anything worth raising with them before the work starts.
Do you only look at lighting?
No. We look at lighting, glare, switching and dimming, power locations and anything worth allowing for while access is still easy, including whether the switchboard can handle the new circuits.
Is the plan review free?
Yes. The initial review of your plans or photos is free, with no obligation.
How quickly will I hear back?
We reply within 1 business day.
