Kieran founded LED Solutions 14 years ago. Since then, it has grown into a full team covering Canberra and the surrounding region, working across homes, renovations, commercial buildings and with builders. Every job is still completed to the standard he started with.
Thousands of LED installs later, Kieran's first ever client still hasn't had to replace a single downlight.

Born and bred in Canberra, into a trade family.
Kieran's dad was a plumber, and time spent working alongside him made one thing clear early on: plumbing wasn't the path. Lighting was — there was something in it that felt right, a small way of making people's day-to-day a bit better.
Fifteen years ago, researching LED technology, Kieran could see where things were headed: the energy efficiency and quality of light coming out of LEDs was better than anything else on the market. He bought the domain, started upgrading downlights to LED, and it snowballed from there into the business LED Solutions is today.
That includes retrofitting expensive existing light fittings with LED components rather than replacing them outright — so good fixtures don't end up in landfill just because the technology inside them is old.

The business is still run the way Kieran started it — properly, with a name behind every job. What's grown is the team and the range: LED Solutions now maintains the lighting on plenty of large commercial and strata buildings across Canberra, alongside the home renovations and new builds we've always done.
A single-storey home and a multi-storey car park get treated the same way — quality gear, installed properly, and a name behind it if anything ever needs a look.
