Is the quote free?
Yes — quotes are free, with no obligation. For straightforward jobs we can often quote from photos or a call; larger jobs get a site visit.
How quickly can you come out?
Standard bookings are typically scheduled within a week or two. Flickering, strobing or safety-related faults get priority — call us directly for the fastest response.
Can you work with my builder, architect or property manager directly?
Yes — we regularly coordinate straight with builders, architects, strata managers and facilities teams, working from plans and on-site schedules rather than just homeowner requests.
Pricing & payment
Why do quotes vary so much between electricians?
Mostly the quality of fittings and drivers, and whether the quote includes proper planning or just parts and labour. We itemise our quotes so you can see exactly what's included.
Do you require a deposit?
For larger jobs involving custom or bulk-ordered fittings, yes — a deposit secures materials. Smaller standard jobs are usually invoiced on completion.
Can strata committees approve work in stages?
Yes — we break larger building quotes into stages so committees can approve and budget for one section at a time.
Licensing & guarantee
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — Electrical Licence 2009974, fully insured. Every job gets a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work where required, so your insurance stays valid.
Do you only do lighting, or other electrical work too?
We're licensed electricians and take on general electrical work — lighting is our focus because it's where we add the most value, but ask us about anything electrical.
What if something goes wrong after the install?
Call us. Our work is backed by both the manufacturer's product warranty and our own workmanship — if it's something we installed, we'll come back and sort it. That's where we're different: we find the best solution for every problem, not just a quick patch.

Do you take on both small jobs and large buildings?
Yes — a single downlight replacement gets the same standard of work as a full commercial building relamp. Size doesn't change how a job is run.
Do you retrofit existing light fittings instead of replacing them?
Where possible, yes — we retrofit good-quality existing fittings with LED components rather than sending them to landfill just because the technology inside is outdated.
